Background Investigations Course 1151 February 2017
Our next training meeting will be on Thursday, July 14th, at 10:00am at the Leesburg Police Department. The training will focus on public records laws and access to public records. Please come prepared to share any tips, tricks, or other information you have regarding obtaining records not just in Florida, but other states as well. While most public records laws are fairly consistent from state-to-state, what is available to the public and how to get it is not. We look forward to seeing you there!
The Leesburg Police Department is located at 115 E Magnolia St in Leesburg (34748). The training will be held in the second floor auditorium. There is a rumor about lunch being served as well. Please RSVP so we know how many to expect.
If you have previously registered for access and are having difficulties logging on, please send a message to the webmaster using the Contact Us menu. If your agency is new to FLBIA and you have never registered, then please click on the User Registration button to create an account.

The FLBIA meeting will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 1pm to 3pm. at the Orlando FHP Station located at 133 S Semoran Blvd, Orlando, FL 32807 in the Lake George Room.
TRAINING workshop on how to create a useable and consistent Background Check List. We will also exchange some resources used for backgrounds.
Please bring with you a list of all the current websites and checks that are completed for your agency background, as each agency used different resources so each Background Check List will be somewhat different. If you have any questions, please feel free to call.
